Practical Steps to Financial Increase During Economic Distress

By: Mr Micah Ndackson

Micah Ndackson graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center, Tulsa Oklahoma (by correspondence) in 2002 and Elijah Bible Institute, San Diego, where he was ordained with Morris Cerullo World Evangelism Ministry. He is currently a businessman and Lifesuccess Coach. He is married to his University sweetheart, Grace a.k.a Sugar Baby. They have 4 grown children, Kathleen, Joy, Mercy and Salome. God has blessed them with 5 lovely grandchildren, Zoe, Abigail, Nathan, Caleb and Abraham.

In 2 Timothy 3:1, it is written “You must understand this, that in the last days distressing times will come.” (NRSV) We are now in those end times. The world is in serious trouble. But thanks be to God, Jesus said “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.” (John 17:16 ). We must adjust our words, thoughts and actions to the Kingdom we have been translated to, (Col 1:12-14) or we will keep living in the dark. We are now subject to and governed by another economy and another system called “the kingdom of God”.

Here are some keys to financial increase during economic distress:

Don’t join the recession or economic distress by confessing and accepting it. Repent – change your thinking –keep your mind renewed on God’s Word, aligning it with the covenant of increase you already have – Deut. 8:18; 2 Cor. 8:9. “We must get our minds renewed to the reality of the Kingdom of God and who we are in that kingdom.” —Pastor Bill Winston, Kingdom Principles: Operating Above the System of the World

Embrace and stand on the Truth that God is your only source. Resist the temptation to trust in any man or your job. Jer. 17:5-8. Think of your covenant Gal. 3:13-14, 29. We don’t just survive in tough times—we prosper and thrive. God will lift us up and over every economic downturn. Look to Him—not to the banks, employers or people. God has a covenant-determination to prosper us. All we have to do is walk by faith, believe and receive.

Spend time in prayer to receive specific direction for yourself from Him. He will give you ideas, concepts and insights that produce financial increase.

Take corresponding actions on the revelation you receive from Him promptly concerning your situation. (See James 1:22)

Never stop tithing, sowing and giving. While our giving and sowing certainly open the door to God’s blessing and favour in our lives, it is the tithe that triggers the opening of the windows of heaven. Mal 3:10 Sow a generous seed to position yourself to participate in the laws of the harvest, giving and receiving, for your breakthrough to financial increase.

Stay focused and be faithful on the current assignment (work) God has placed in your hands. Expect Him to show up in the work of your hands – to assist, endorse, and make things easier for you. Expect Him to use His ability and willingness to give you special privileges and advantages daily. “Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything…”2 Cor 9:8 (TPT) “Something may be coming in the economy. Whatever it may be, if a person is operating in kingdom principles, it will be just like they are in the ark at the time of the flood of Noah. The worse the conditions got, the higher Noah rose. The worse things get, the higher kingdom people will rise in prominence in the earth.” —Pastor Bill Winston, Kingdom Principle

Continue to praise, acknowledge and thank Him for daily financial increases – big or small. Maintain an attitude of gratitude “… for the abundance of all (with which He has blessed you)…” Deut 28:47b, AMPC…

Financial increase will follow, flow and overtake you in increasing quantities, through multiple channels, on a continuous basis as you stand your ground, take God as your ONLY source of supply, refuse to join the recession, seek and receive His plans packaged uniquely for your situation and continue to “keep the switch of faith turned on” in joyfulness of mind and heart for what you already have.
Here is a word from the Lord through Brother Jerry Savelle for 2022 on Economic Distress: “Tell the people if they will not be shaken or moved by all the chaos and disorder that is taking place in the world around them, I will open my hand unto them and cause them to experience supernatural, extraordinary and unusual provisions.”

Our Authority in Finances

OUR AUTHORITY IN FINANCES

Genesis 1:1, 26-28, 31
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion…
31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

God created Adam and put him in Eden. He told him to dress and keep the Garden, and gave him dominion over all the works of His hands. In one sense of the word, Adam originally was the ‘god of this world’. Adam had dominion; he called the shots. One of the things God put on this earth for His man was wealth and there is enough of it to go round.

Psalms 24:1
1 The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

Psalms 8:4,5
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

The word ‘angels’ in this verse is the same word used for ‘God’ in Genesis 1:26. God made man as much like Himself as He could (just a shade lower than Himself). Adam had dominion. He called the shots and was in charge of the wealth on earth. It was put there for him and his descendants to enjoy. But Adam committed high treason. He disobeyed God. Adam was separated from God and satan became the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4: 4).

Haggai 2:8
8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.

Psalms 50:10,12
10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.

All the wealth on earth belongs to God and He gave it to man.

Romans 6:16
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Adam chose to obey the devil and thus, became a servant of sin and satan. Satan became man’s spiritual father, as well as man’s lord. Satan was able to take a hold of the dominion that Adam had. Adam delivered it to him.

The Adam that delivered the authority to satan is called the first Adam. Praise God, there is a second Adam: also called the last Adam. Through His sacrifice, He redeemed us from the curse of poverty; defeated the devil and stripped him of that authority that the first Adam gave him. He then gave that authority back to us, which we exercise in the name of Jesus!

Colossians 2:15
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Satan is defeated, but he is still the ‘intelligence’ behind poverty, lack, etc. Jesus met satan in his domain and defeated him. One translation says, “And having stripped principalities and powers…” What did He strip them of? He stripped them of their authority. We need to get a hold of this truth in our spirits: Jesus defeated the devil. When He rose from the dead, He said, “All power (authority) is given unto me in heaven and in earth…” (Matthew 28: 18). He then delegated the authority to the Church, and He said for us to go in His name. (vs. 19)

We are redeemed from the devil’s dominion (Colossians 1:12-14). Our Father has made us qualified to partake in the inheritance of the saints in light. Part of that inheritance is our redemption from poverty and lack. Satan does not have any authority over us anymore. We are no longer in his kingdom; we have a new master. Satan is the one trying to make you poor; he is the one trying to keep the money from coming in. He is the one working behind the scenes. But the good news is that he has been defeated!

As far as your finances are concerned, satan is a nobody. As a believer in Christ, you are no longer under satan’s dominion. God wants us prosperous financially and we are taking our place. We are going to exercise our dominion in this area just like we do when it comes to sickness, disease and sin. Poverty is also a work of the devil and we will take our authority.

How to use your Authority in Finances

1. Claim Whatever You Need or Want
You can claim it because all the wealth belongs to our Father. He did not put it here because of the devil and his children; He put it here for us. Adam sold out to the devil; but Jesus came and broke the power of the devil over us. He delivered us, drew us to Himself and gave us the authority to use His name.

John 14:13-14
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

The word “ask” means to ‘demand as your right or privilege’. Your needs and your wants being supplied is your right and privilege. It belongs to you because of the finished work of redemption. God owns everything and we are His heirs; we are joint heirs with Jesus Christ (Romans 8:17). Claim whatever you need or want in the name of Jesus. Also, you should understand that faith grows, so start where you are at. I got a hold of this in the 80s. The first time I exercised my faith for finances was for ₦130, which was a lot of money in 1989. I needed that amount, so I claimed it in the name of Jesus, and I got it within 24 hours.

  1. Tell Satan to Take His Hands Off Your Money

Luke 10:19
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Sometimes, the way we pray for money is not so right. “Oh God, send me money,” isn’t the best way to pray. The truth is, God does not have cash in heaven. The money we need is here on earth. There is a devilish system – an intelligence – that wants to keep it from you. Tell the devil to take his hands off it. He is the one trying to keep it from coming to you.

  1. Say, “Go Ministering Spirits, and Cause the Money to Come”

I read in one of E.W Kenyon’s books where he said the Lord gave him this revelation. Brother Hagin said the Lord told him the same thing, and it lines up with God’s word.

There are resources that God wants to bring your way. When I needed that ₦130, I claimed it in the name of Jesus. I told the devil to take his hands off it. I said, “Go, ministering spirits, and cause the money to come”, and by the next day I got it! Another time, years ago, I needed a pair of black shoes, I decided that I wasn’t going to buy it with my money, but rather use my faith. Glory to God; I got 3 black shoes! Those angels must have worked extra. Angels can influence people on your behalf.

Psalms 103:20
20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

Angels excel in strength. Angels have more to do with our lives than we think.

Hebrews 1:13-14
13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Notice it says they are sent forth to minister ‘for’, and that is talking about us. This can be likened to a waiter or waitress in a restaurant who waits on a customer, gives him the menu, waits for him to place his orders and go to get what he wants.

Luke 6:38
38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Some of the things you need are in the hands of men. Relationships are important. We need to walk in love, be respectful, and be polite to fellow men. This is very important, because God blesses us through men. Angels can influence people on your behalf. They could put thoughts in the minds of some people to do you good and you need to take advantage of that by speaking right.

Don’t let the devil cheat you of God’s blessings! Take your place as a believer and demand your rights. What do you need or want? Claim it in the Name of Jesus; command the devil to take his hands off your money and release angels to bring all the money in! This is how to exercise your authority in the place of finances!

3 Vital Keys To Biblical Prosperity

3 Vital Keys To Biblical Prosperity

Prosperity is not a new doctrine in the Church. Several people have taught on this subject since the Church began. With the global pandemic and its impact on the world’s economy, it is important that we go over the truths about Biblical Prosperity so we don’t slip away from them (Hebrews 2:1). You and I know that it is very easy to keep our minds on our needs and even start talking lack, especially when everyone around us is doing so. We must focus our attention on the Word of God and what it says concerning prosperity especially in these times.

So it is important we remind ourselves of these 3 vital truths concerning prosperity because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10: 17).

We have authority in the area of finances

Genesis 1:26-28 KJV 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and overall the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

God created the earth and gave His man, Adam authority over it. In one sense of the word, Adam was originally the god of this world. Everything belongs to God from the standpoint of Him being the owner and creator of all things but God gave dominion over the earth to Adam. Haggai 2: 8 says that the Silver and Gold belong to God. Psalm 50:10-12 makes it clear that the cattle upon a thousand hills belong to God. God gave Adam dominion over His earth but Adam committed high treason, disobeyed God and sold out to the devil, thereby turning over his dominion on the earth to the devil (Luke 4:5-8). Satan, therefore, became the god of this world and began his reign of tyranny over mankind and the earth (2 Corinthians 4:4)

There is an intelligence in this world that does not want you to have money. That intelligence is the devil and he knows that the more money comes into the hands of Christians, the better they look to the world and this therefore makes God look good to the world. The devil also knows that the more money that gets into the hands of believers, the more money they will give to the gospel and thus, spreading the gospel faster across the earth. So Satan does his best to try to keep finances from coming to believers. But we thank God that Jesus defeated the devil and stripped him of the authority he had over us (See Colossians 2: 15). We have an actual redemption from the devil’s dominion through the death, burial and resurrection of Christ!

Where our finances are concerned, the devil has been paralyzed. Jesus not only defeated the devil for us, but He also gave us authority over the devil (Matthew 28:18-19). In exercising our authority in the area of finances, there are three things we need to do. First, we need to claim whatever we need or want. In John 14:13-14, Jesus said that whatever we ask (to demand as our right or privilege) in His name, He will do it.

Secondly, we need to tell the devil to take his hands off what you need or want. The money we need is not in heaven but here on earth. There is a devil trying to keep it from coming to us. The devil is the one trying to ensure you don’t have what you need or want; so command him to take his hands off your money. Finally, we should say, “go ministering spirits and cause the money to come”. In Psalm 103:20, we see that angels excel in strength and hearken to the voice of God’s Word. We also see in Hebrews 1:13-14 that angels minister FOR those who are the heirs of salvation – they are waiting for our orders the same way a waiter waits for your order when you go to a restaurant.

We need to continually speak faith-filled words concerning our prosperity

Mark 11:23 KJV “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

In this scripture, we see that relative to the believer, the saying part is three times as emphasized as the believing part. Where we miss it primarily as believers is not in the believing part of faith but in the saying part. You have to say with your mouth what you believe in your heart. Believing it alone is not enough. Faith must be released in words through the mouth; you can have what you say! If you talk about the lack of finances, it will stop the money from coming in.

The Bible way to release faith for finances or for anything else is by saying with your mouth what you believe in your heart. We need to keep talking the right words. Proverbs 6:2 says that we are taken captive by the words of our mouth. Our words dominate us. Your faith will always rise up or go down to the level of your words.

We should tithe faithfully and give generously

We must get to the place where we want to prosper for the right reasons. Prosperity should not be seen as an end; rather, it should be seen as a means to an end. Money should be seen as a tool to use to reach the lost with the gospel. The purpose of prosperity is world evangelization.

Deuteronomy 8:18KJV “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.”

God brought out the children of Israel from Egypt with a lot of possession. Part of the reason He did that was that He knew that there would be a time to build the Tabernacle and a lot of resources would be required to do that. The purpose of prosperity is not for us to show off but to be a blessing to God’s work and to people.

Sometimes people want to exercise faith for finances but they don’t want to give. Yes, even though giving and receiving has been pushed to extremes, we don’t want to avoid it, seeing it is in the Scriptures too. So why should we give?

  1. We should give because we love God
  2. We should give because we want to obey God
  3. We should give because we want to see the Great Commission fulfilled and the lost saved
  4. We should give because we want to see the needs of people met
  5. We should also give and mix faith with our giving and expect a harvest

We should make sure our priorities are right: getting a harvest shouldn’t be our main purpose for giving to God. Love should motivate our giving. If receiving is the only purpose for our giving, we won’t get as much as we are supposed to get. A good ground is the ground you give into and it does the most for the work of God. When you give to such a place, you also get the most out of it.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8 KJV 6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Giving should be deliberate and not out of compulsion. We ought to make a decision in our hearts what we want to give. We should also give generously with joy in our hearts.

Hebrews 6:12 tells us not to be slothful but to be followers of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. We then see in the rest of that chapter how Abraham was given as an example of such a person. In Hebrews 7 we see a comparison between how Abraham tithed to Melchizedec in faith (before the law) and how Israel tithed to Levi under the law. We do not tithe as new covenant believers as a legalistic requirement but we tithe in faith, following the steps of our father Abraham (Romans 4; Galatians 3). According to Romans 4:12, we are to follow after the steps of the faith of Abraham. And since Abraham tithed to Melchizedec before the law (Hebrews 7), we ought to tithe to Jesus Christ our High Priest as new covenant believers. If people were blessed for tithing in the Old Covenant, we will not be cursed if we tithe under the new covenant. We ought to tithe to our local churches – that’s where the tithe belongs.

So we ought to practice the entire counsel of God’s Word concerning prosperity by also tithing faithfully and giving generously. Then we will receive a harvest that is bountiful and we will be sufficient in all things. That’s the will of God for us.

What is a Holy Ghost Meeting

WHAT IS A HOLY GHOST MEETING?

There are different kinds of meetings such as teaching meetings- the word is taught line upon line, precept upon precept, an evangelistic meeting- the thrust is to reach the lost, a healing meeting to minister to the sick, a worship meeting or a prayer meeting. a Holy Ghost meeting is however a different kind of flow where we just follow the direction of the Holy Ghost. every church needs these different kinds of meetings to be all God wants them to be.
So what is a Holy Ghost meeting and what do we expect?
In July, 1987, the Lord appeared to Kenneth E. Hagin of blessed memory in a vision and said to him; “…there is a move of the Spirit that would be lost to this generation except they are led into it …” and that He (the Lord) wants him teach about the Holy Spirit. Then sometime later in 1993, in Lakeland, Florida, he spoke out of his spirit that “… we are going to start having Holy Ghost meetings…” He didn’t start right away, but eventually he did. He asked the Lord “What’s a Holy Ghost meeting?” And the Lord told him a Holy Ghost meeting consists of three (3 ) things, namely:

1. In a Holy Ghost meeting, the Word of God is preached and (or) taught

Jesus said in Mark 16: 15 “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature…” This is our primary assignment. The preaching and the teaching of God’s word must come first. Matthew records the same thing in Matthew 28 verse 18, and 19; “all power (authority) is given to me in heaven and in earth…go therefore and teach all nations…teaching them to observe all things…
”When Brother Hagin pastored in 1939, he did Deliverance Meetings, then Getting Free Meetings and finally Loosening Meetings. After nine months altogether of those meetings, nothing changed in the people’s lives, they were just as bound as they had been. He then began to seek the Lord in prayer and fasting about the situation and the Lord said to him; “… you are trying to do for my people through prayer, anointing with oil and laying on of hands what My Word and My Word alone would do for them…”. The Lord gave him a scripture in John 8:32 which says; “… you shall know the truth and the truth SHALL make you free….”. He began to put out God’s Word. This time around, the people got free and stayed free. The Word of God is anointed.
One time while I pastored an assembly I pioneered, as a regular thing, I ministered to the sick by the laying on of hands. There was a lady who was part of that assembly, who had had surgery thrice for a certain respiratory condition, but the surgeries did not fix the problem. She never came on any of my healing lines for me to minister to her. After a few months, she came to me saying; “… you know, I had trouble with my breathing and I have had surgery on it three times but it couldn’t fix it but by sitting under the teaching of the Word I am now completely healed” The Word did it. Psalm 107:20 says: “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.

2. In a Holy Ghost meeting, the Spirit of God is leading, He’s guiding, He’s in demonstration and in manifestation.

A minister once said “With just the Word, you might dry up, with just the Spirit you might blow up, but with the Word and the Spirit, you get to grow up”. We put the Word first, but we’re just as much a people of the Holy Ghost as we’re a people of the Word. We believe in following the Holy Ghost; flowing with the Holy Ghost. As a matter of fact, that’s how Rhema started in the first place.
Brother Hagin was teaching on the Monday night of the first Camp meeting, July 1973, when he suddenly spoke out of his spirit; “… we’re gonna start a Bible School right here on this premises, to train people in the Word of God and in the Holy Ghost…” He just spoke that out of his spirit without realizing it mentally and that is how Rhema started. So, we believe in following the Holy Ghost. He leads, He guides, He directs, and we want to be sensitive to His leading.
There are manifestations of the Spirit spoken of in 1 Corinthians 12:7-11. Through any of these nine manifestations, the Spirit of God moves to bless lives. Those manifestations are as the Spirit of God wills. We can create a conducive atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to move by cooperating with Him.
I remember one time I was teaching somewhere in India. I was teaching on the subject of divine healing and as I taught and moved around, I stood right at one section of seats and then there was a lady that sat right in front of me. On the inside of me I heard “tell her she’s healed.” I thought to myself ‘I don’t even know if she’s sick”. Well, I just pointed at her and said, “Listen up, I’m human and I could miss it, but I seem to have an impression in my spirit to tell you that you are healed.” She didn’t show much emotion but just said something like ‘praise God’, and that was it. I found out later she had had a heart condition that was incurable, but instantly she got healed, just in a moment. These are manifestations of the Holy Ghost and they belong to the body of Christ. More so, the Spirit of God yearns to manifest Himself through any Spirit-filled believer.
Just like there are manifestations of the Spirit, there are also demonstrations of the Spirit. In 1 Corinthians 2:4, Paul said, “… my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of
man’s wisdom but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of the power of God…” There are physical demonstrations of the Spirit of God. For
instance, Psalm 126:1-3 says; “When the Lord turned again captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream, then was our mouth filled with laughter and our tongue with singing, then said they among the heathen ‘the Lord has done great things for them.’ The Lord has done great things for us whereof we are glad”. In Hebrews 12, we see that Zion is the Church and Colossians 1:12-13 says “Giving thanks unto the father who has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light, who has delivered us from the authority of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son…” so, certainly, He has turned our captivity. Notice it says. “then was our mouths filled with laughter”. Psalm 2:4 says “He that sits in the heavens shall laugh”. God laughs and we are seated at the right hand of the Father with Christ Jesus (Eph 2:6) and so we can laugh inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Bible says, “a merry heart, doeth good like medicine” (Proverbs 17:22). There is something about rejoicing in the Spirit that blesses us and causes God’s power to be brought on the scene.
In 1 Peter 1:8, the Bible says “Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:” Now, if the joy is unspeakable, there’s bound to be ways to express it. That’s why we sometimes laugh, run, dance and sometimes get hilarious!

3. In a Holy Ghost meeting, the needs of the people are met, and they are full of joy.

Sometimes, there is exuberant joy, but the Holy Ghost could be in manifestation and there is silence. In a Holy Ghost meeting, He may want us to worship. He may want us to pray about something and He may roll prayer burdens. We do not see much of these things anymore these days, but these are the things we need to go back to, that need to be taught and we need to be led into. God’s best is that we walk by faith but not everybody is at that place where they will receive their healing by faith. Some people are so far gone that except there is a
manifestation of the Spirit, they will not receive their healing but may die. Some people have lost their minds and don’t even understand what you are saying, so it will take a manifestation of the Spirit to get them delivered. God, being the kind of Father that He is- a loving and gracious Father, He wants to help people regardless of the level that they are at. For the unbelievers, He wants to get their attention through signs and wonders. Signs are not going to get them saved, it is the preaching of the Word that will, but the signs can get their attention. Sometimes, all of us need a little bit of help and in some of these kinds of meetings, where the Spirit is moving, some of that help shows up.
I have seen people who have been believing for healing for years come to a Holy Ghost Meeting and then in such an atmosphere, the healing comes into manifestation. I remember one man, he hadn’t seen in one eye for 7 years and I laid hands on him with the tangible anointing of healing power, and the blind eye popped open instantly. Now, I can’t heal a fly, Jesus is the Healer! One way and not the only way Jesus heals is through the laying on of hands.
On Monday June 1, 1992, one of the times the Lord Jesus appeared to me, He laid His hands on my head as He had me kneel down and He said “I’ve called you specially and anointed you specially to do what I’ve called you to do, now I want you to go in the strength of that call…” If you will believe that I’m anointed and you will receive that anointing, that power will flow from my hands into your body, it will drive out whatever sickness or disease you have and it will effect a healing and a cure in you. God’s power destroys yokes.
The laying on of hands can be used to minister healing (Mark 16:17-18), the baptism in the Holy Ghost (Acts 19:6), separate people to God’s call (Acts 13:1-4), impart spiritual endowments (Deuteronomy 34:9, 1 Timothy 4:14, 2 Timothy 1:6), and impart blessings (Mark 10:16).
Expect to be blessed, expect your needs to be met and expect to be full of joy at the Conference.

The New Commandment

Author: Rev Tokunbo Adejuwon

John 13:34-35 (KJV)
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

In the new covenant, the Church has only one commandment: to love one another as Christ loved us. Notice that Jesus says the world is not going to know that we are His disciples because we have faith. No! In Mathew 15:21-28, we read about the woman of Canaan who was outside the covenant but exercised great faith. The same thing is seen in the healing of the centurion’s servant in Matthew 8:5-13. The centurion exercised great faith, yet he wasn’t a part of the covenant. Faith is certainly very important in our walk with God and it’s by faith that we receive God’s blessings and provisions. However, it’s by our love-walk that the world will know that we are disciples of Christ.

Our love-walk is what shows that we are His disciples. In 1 John 4:8, we see that God is love, more than He is anything else. Let’s have faith, let’s have tongues and let’s have the gifts of the Spirit; but let’s have love with them and let’s put love first. Anybody – saint or sinner – can walk in faith and do exploits for God. But love is the commandment of the new covenant, and love is what we are to make our great aim and quest as believers in Christ.

1 Corinthians 14:1 (Amplified – Classic)
1 Eagerly pursue and seek to acquire [this] love [make it your aim, your great quest]; and earnestly desire and cultivate the spiritual endowments (gifts), especially that you may prophesy (interpret the divine will and purpose in inspired preaching and teaching).

John 15:12 (KJV)
2 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

1 John 3:16 (KJV)
16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

Jesus did not just tell us to walk in love, He also told us how to walk in love. We are not just to love our neighbours as ourselves as the old covenant demanded but we are to go a step further. We are to love one another as Christ loved us. We are to lay down our lives for the brethren.

Romans 9:3 (KJV)
3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:

Paul was willing to lay down his life to see that those people got saved. In like manner, we are to lay down our lives for the brethren. Jesus died for us, so we are to live for the brethren; to be a blessing to them. The order is God first, then the other person next, and ourselves last.

If God’s Word tells us to walk in love, that means we can walk in love. His desire is to have an intimate relationship with us, and that we stay in good fellowship with one another as children of God. Therefore, to be able to give love, one has to first receive it from God. Thereafter, it can be given to others. The heart reason for redemption is fellowship.
The reason we love God is because He first loved us. The more we understand God’s love towards us, the easier it becomes to love Him in return. He is the Master Lover, and the way we show our love towards Him is by loving one another.

1 John‬ ‭4:7,8‬ (‭KJV)
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.‬‬

1 John‬ ‭4:19,21‬ (‭KJV)
19 We love him, because he first loved us.
20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.‬‬

Love is treating others like you would want to be treated. (Mathew 7:12) We owe one another the debt of love. (Romans 13:8-10)

Galatians 5:14 (KJV)
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Love is the fulfilling of the Law. If we are walking in love, we wouldn’t break a commandment that was given to curb sin. We should make it a habit to always ask ourselves “What would love do?”, or “What would Jesus do in this situation?”

Love prefers the other person. An unbeliever does not have the love of God in his heart, so he can’t walk in the God-kind of love. God has faith and God has power, but God is love! The commandment of the new covenant is written in our hearts. Under the old covenant they had the Ten Commandments, but under the new covenant we have only one commandment and it is the commandment of love.

Since love is the fulfilment of the law, a Christian commits sin when he doesn’t walk in love. Love works no ill to his neighbour. If we would walk in love, we wouldn’t wrong or hurt anyone. Like faith, love is of the heart, and is expressed in words and in actions.

God loves us. The finished work of redemption is a revelation of God’s love towards us. If God loved us so much that He sent His Son to die for us when we were sinners, does He love us any less now that we are His children? No, a thousand times, no! God loves us and that’s why we are able to love others with the same love.

Let’s feed regularly on God’s Word especially on what He says about His love towards us, His love that’s within us, and how we are to respond by loving one another, loving sinners and loving our enemies.

Love never fails!

Our Authority in Finances

Our Authority in Finances

God created Adam and put him in Eden. He told him to dress and keep the Garden, and gave him dominion over all the works of His hands. In one sense of the word, Adam originally was the ‘god of this world’. Adam had dominion; he called the shots. One of the things God put on this earth for His man was wealth, and there is enough of it to go round.

Maintaining Your Stand By Faith

The only fight the believer is called to fight is the fight of faith, and the Bible calls it a good fight. God’s Word tells us to fight the good fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12). The reason it’s a good fight is because we always triumph through Christ (2 Corinthians 2:14 )and we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us (Romans 8:37).
